VAL ROBINSON
Val is the Owner of Pilates Lab &
Diploma Qualified APMA Instructor & fully accredited member of the PAA - Pilates Alliance Australasia.
Val is extensively trained in the Pilates Method a contemporary practice of Pilates focused on the individual. A highly skilled instructor, Val spends lots of time tailoring each class to deliver the results for the individual.
Val is experienced with all stages of life to improve everyday function, as well as enabling rehabilitation from injury or surgery, understanding pre and post natal recovery and a dedicated support to athletes. Whatever your goal Val will get you there, fast.
Energetic, challenging and passionate are some of the words her clients use to describe her and per programs.
Her contemporary approach combined with her warm, engaging nature make her outstanding amongst the health and wellness options available.
KRISTI LENTON
QUALIFIED STUDIO, REFORMER & MATWORK INSTRUCTOR
Kristi has been working in the Pilates industry since 2019, combining her background of classical dance training with Pilates.
Having grown up a part of London's West End dance scene, pilates was essential to avoid injuries. But it wasn't until she moved to Australia in 2015 that it became her world.
Kristi's classes are renowned for their balance of challenging skills and full body lengthening. Her nurturing personality and passion for mobility is reflected in her classes, which inspires clients and makes them feel supported at every stage of their development.
Peyton Coghlan- Savage
QUALIFIED REFORMER & MATWORK INSTRUCTOR
Peyton’s love for Pilates shines brightly through her warm personality. She has an extensive 13 year background in Dance which has given her a great understanding of the human body.
Peyton understands the importance of technique and correct form and encourages this in her classes to acheive the best results.
She is passionate about helping you keep your body strong whilst ensuring you are challenged. You will leave her classes feeling stronger and empowered.
CLASS TYPES
STUDIO GROUP EQUIPMENT CLASSES 3:1
Come and enjoy a specialised pilates workout designed for you. Pilates Lab classes currently teach a maximum of three clients to ensure attention to technique, and to ensure you get the results you want whilst being motivated to reach your goals.
Chiropractor, Ostepath and Physio referred clients should start their journey here, building up gentle activation of the deep core while mobilising and strengthening the body.
You will utilise a variety of equipment including Reformer, Tower, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and other small equipment (Roller, small hand weights, ankle weights, slider discs & Swiss ball).
INITIAL CONSULTATION
All new clients are required to complete and Intial Consultation before starting in a Small Group Equipment classes or Small Group Reformer class.
An Initial Consultation is a one on one 60 min specialised session designed specifically to achieve your personal goals. It is a great way to start your Pilates journey as it will allow us to assess your posture, strength, flexibility and discuss with you what your goals are and how we will work to achieve them.
All new clients are required to complete one Initial Consultation before starting in our Small Group Equipment classes or Small Group Reformer classes. This Consultation will also give you the confidence to participate in your Group classes with ease.
SMALL GROUP REFORMER CLASSES 4:1
Our exclusive small group Reformer classes of 4 clients per class are where personalised attention meets the transformative power of Pilates. We’re staying true to our commitment of tailoring programs through distinctive flows, remaining faithful to the essence of the Pilates method and still tailoring to the individual.
Enjoy a dynamic 50 min Strengthening and lengthening session. Our dedicated team will provide you with guidance in an intimate setting, ensuring you get the most out of every session.
PRIVATE OR DUO STUDIO CLASSES
Pilates Lab also offer Private & Duo classes. These sessions are personally designed for each client based on their goals and functional needs.
Private sessions are exactly that private, and Duo’s you share with another person. In Duo classes you still have personalised plans but share the same Instructor.
In these classes we utilise a variety of equipment including Reformer, Tower, Wunder Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and other small equipment (Roller, small hand weights, ankle weights, slider discs & Swiss ball).

Attending Pilates even just once a week is proven to improve strength, flexibility & endurance. Ideally 2-3 sessions a week with a recovery day between classes would get you seeing results a lot faster.

Please note we have a 24 hours cancellation policy however if the class is made up within the same week you will not be charged.
All 10 packs have a 12 week expiry and all 5 packa s 6 week expiry from the date of first class. If special circumstances arise that might affect this please contact Val.
