This is a one on one specialised session designed specifically to achieve your personal goals. A great way to start your Pilates journey, it will allow us to assess your posture, strength, flexibility and discuss with you what your goals are and how we will achieve them. MATWORK CLASSES

Our Matwork classes are small & intimate to deliver the best results. They can improve your strength, flexibility, tone and create a lengthened and leaner physique whilst working up a sweat with a hit of cardio to invigorate and challenge the body.

Our classes are based on the traditional Pilates method where you will move your body in all planes of motion & mobilise your spine in flexion, rotation, lateral flexion & extension. We deliver just the right amount of muscle lengthening & strengthening, with fluid sequences that will work your body at just the right intensity. You will leave feeling you have worked your entire body head to toe.

Classes are capped at 8 clients to ensure attention to technique & run for 45 mins.

Note - Mat Classes do not require an Initial Consultation. However if you have a pre-exising injury or you are pregnant these classes are not for you. If you are postnatal be sure to have the all clear from your doctor before you book in and please let us know before you begin your class. Matwork classes will only run if there are 3 or more clients booked into a class.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I BE DOING PILATES?

Once a week to understand it

Twice a week to feel it

Three times a week for transformation

Attending Pilates even just once a week is proven to improve strength, flexibility & endurance. Ideally 2-3 sessions a week with a recovery day between classes would get you seeing results a lot faster.

WE LOVE HEARING FROM OUR PILATES LAB FAMILY

Pilates Lab is the best! I've been doing Pilates for years but since I've started seeing Val I've felt stronger than ever (even after 3 kids). Her attention to even the smallest details & knowledge of the industry makes the class so worthwhile, while her positivity is simply infectious.
